Visit to Funchal with its colorful market hall, visit to the embroidery factory and wine tasting in the oldest Madeira winery in a Franciscan monastery.

3. Day
Hike with descent from the green Tabua valley to Ribeira Brava. Wonderful views of the sea and the coastal towns.

4. Day
Hike along the Levada do Norte from Cabo Giraos, Europe's highest cliff - deep down you can see fields wrested from the sea and only accessible by boat. You hike to the valley of Ribeira Brava. About 2000 steps down to the center of Ribeira Brava.

5. Day
Drive to the nature reserve of Rabacal, the Unesco world heritage site, with laurel forests and numerous waterfalls. Hike along the Levada do Risco to the 25 springs.

6. Day
Hike along the Levada dos Prazeres to the lovely fruit-growing area of Amparo. Detour to the lighthouse of Ponta do Pargo and return to the hotel in Calheta.

At your disposal. Take a boat trip to watch whales and dolphins, relax on the sandy beach of Calheta or visit the fishing villages of Jardim and Paul do Mar - we have lots of tips!
