Água de Pena
The community of Agua de Pena was founded in 1560 and is one of the oldest in Madeira. It´s spring water fountain Fonte do Seixo is said to be very popular among locals.
The city of Machico and the 27 hole Santo da Serra Golf course can be reached in just a few minutes from Água de Pena. There is a beautiful hiking trail that begins above Água de Pena, the Capela dos Cardiais and ends in Santo da Serra.
